Also, the faucet on the back of the tank to rinse your hands while the tank fills.
No soap though. Often no soap in public restrooms either. 🙁

Ming just informed me, that was one of her favourite things about Japan. I generally ignored the extra functions but apparently there is a desire to get one installed soon.
There are stores full of these in Aberdeen Mall. I always wondered what all the buttons were for, but was never brave enough to ask. It seemed like something I should buy. I mean, who wouldn’t want an electronic toilet seat?
Some of them have seat warmers. Most of them have a function to spray water at your bum. This one has a fan to dry afterward, but the others could as well but just have poor iconography.
Also, it takes bravery to push buttons you can’t read while sitting on a toilet. 😛
I always wondered if some of the buttons were meant to control your toilet TV.
I hope they don’t add these to the Internet of Things. You could have all sorts of fun hacking one…
