We didn’t know to many people at the wedding, so we spent a lot of time wandering around and looking at the place. It was a lovely looking setting, and I think they had rooms in the back for people to stay at. There was a gazebo, an undercover area, a large deck with plenty of comfortable chairs and lounge chairs, a yard and a pool. The bar was open, and eventually we met up with some people we did know, and the evening moved along nicely. The weather was as near to perfect as you can imagine – cloudy with a breeze, and only a few little spots of rain. Despite the threat overhanging all morning, the rain stayed away.
I didn’t take too many photos, only a few to brag about the place – you could take an epic mountain photo and an epic beach photo just by spinning 180 degrees on the spot.
The ceremony was nice, but hard to hear. The food was excellent. And unfortunately we lost steam around 9pm (midnight, PST) and found a lounge chair to hang around in. A little while later we drove the 15 minutes up the street to our place, and fell asleep.
