Someone pointed out that the blog wasn’t rendering correctly in Safari, so I checked and it looked like shit. Then I checked Chrome mobile and it looked like shit, and it’s probably because web standards have changed a lot a lot since 2010 when I started the blog and set the theme up. So let me know if anything looks off!

January 6, 2020 at 10:43 pmIt looks better. My Mac is old too, but Safari (Webkit) is one of the two major browser codebases now. I spent so much time on my main blog making it look better in mobile and updating all the post metadata. I don’t have the same amount of time or drive for the hobby blog. I need to change to fat (wider than tall) primary featured images for all the old posts, but that would require finding and editing 100+ images. This is what happens when you maintain a blog for a long time…
